Thanks for using IUX Design Lab. By signing up or using the platform, you are agreeing to these terms — we have written them as clearly as possible so you actually know what you are agreeing to. If anything is unclear, feel free to email us.

IUX Design Lab is an academic research tool, built as part of a master's thesis on inclusive urban design. Everything it produces — evaluation scores, AI recommendations, framework assessments — is intended to:

• Support research, learning, and early-stage design exploration
• Help designers understand inclusive design principles
• Provide a starting point for discussion, not a final verdict

It is not a substitute for a licensed architect, engineer, or accessibility consultant, and results should not be submitted to planning authorities or used for regulatory compliance without independent professional review.

When you create an account, please use accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your login secure. If you ever think someone else has accessed your account, let us know and change your password.

The IUX Design Framework is © Ahmed Mahmoud. You are welcome to use the AI outputs for your own research, learning, and design work. We only ask that you do not copy, republish, or commercialise the framework or platform outputs without getting in touch with us first.

We ask that you use the platform in good faith. That means not trying to scrape or reverse-engineer the AI or framework, not uploading files that contain harmful content or confidential data belonging to others, and not hammering the platform with automated requests. In short — use it as it was intended and we will all get along fine.

We do our best to keep IUX Design Lab running smoothly. That said, it is a research prototype — there may occasionally be downtime, updates, or changes. We appreciate your patience and will aim to communicate any planned interruptions in advance.

We have built this platform carefully and genuinely want it to be useful to you. However, since it is a research tool and not a professional service, we cannot accept legal liability for decisions made based on its outputs. Please treat AI-generated advice as a helpful starting point, not a definitive answer.

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes would be handled by courts in Germany.
